Grief
Sadness:grief, sorrow, cheerlessness, gloom, melancholy, self-pity, loneliness, dejection, despair,...(Goleman 1995, Page 289)
My mother lost her 8 year old younger brother at her tender age of 12. I never realized what an impact this had on her until her funeral at the age of 91. While I experienced the typical grief that one experiences upon the loss of an aged parent, I could only imagine the pain and suffering she endured for close to 80 years. This page is dedicated to her memory.
